I love of all of the Scream movies including this one. Scream 3 is probably my favorite out of them all.

My all-time favorite and best of all the Scream movies. It has good witty dialogue while still staying scary when it is supposed to be. Why does everyone say that it killed the series?

A great sequel, but not as great and funny as the first two. Too many cheesy dialogs, the characters are not likable, except the original cast, and the killers motive you can see a mile away, but good twist on the whole "You, all this because of you".

Why didn't they film this script? Aside from a few dialogue issues this is 10x better than what we got at the cinema. There could have been 4 great Scream movies instead of 3 plus 1 giant mess.

The dialogue (mostly) is spot-on to the final film but much of the settings and chronology of events are different. I found the ending anti-climatic and clunky but I wasn't a big fan of the one in the film either, I think it worked out better in the end. Clearly, there were major revisions, and I don't think this is Williamson's original draft, wish I could find it.
